		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t question the numbers or the term workhorse.  I just don&#039;t think it should be so hard to get guys to throw 200 innings anymore, but I guess it is.  It is more a knock about how few pitchers truly pitch past the 6th inning with any regularity.]]></description>

From 2008-2011 Mike Pelfrey made the 17th-most starts and threw the 26th-most innings in baseball. He is one of 24 pitchers to make at least 30 starts and throw at least 180 innings in each of those seasons.]]></description>
