Great articles, made the All-Star break more bearable.

I’d like to get your thoughts on Liam…. I’d like to see him get innings over Pelfrey or try him in the bullpen…. Unfortunately, the Twins seem to have given up on him so far

start, but Correia has shown why the multi-year commitment was misguided
and if the Twins can trade him before the ERA rises any further they
should.”

Correia…

Career: 4.51 ERA, 4.54 FIP, 4.42 xFIP
2012: 4.21 ERA, 4.43 FIP, 4.34 xFIP
2013: 4.23 ERA, 4.70 FIP, 4.21 xFIP

If they want to trade him, there’s no reason why they shouldn’t, except that it seems Correia so far has done just about what Terry Ryan should have expected when he decided to give him that 2-year deal.

How much worse did you, or do you, really expect him to be?
