The Streak Ends Here!
For some unknown reason I wasn't included in the Twins/A's bet that was made between John from Twinsgeek.com and the boys over at elephantsinoakland (don't worry I'll get over it) so instead I will make a simple prediction to all of my readers.
I am posting this at 7:28 PM and the Twins/A's game is tied at 0 after the top of the first.
I hereby guarantee that the Oakland A's streak will end at the Metrodome this weekend.
Yeah, yeah, I know...big deal, I am predicting the Twins will win at least 1 game.
But it is a big deal, cause this Oakland team hasn't lost in about a year and a half.
And if I am wrong? Well, I'm not really sure what I'll do.
The humiliation of knowing that all of my loyal readers were counting on my prognostication skills and I failed them will be enough...I think.
Although I am willing to take suggestions, as long as they don't include tatooing a picture of Miguel Tejada on my butt or something.
For those of you in Minnesota or Oakland (or anyone with Directv's baseball package) enjoy the series.
And for all you Oakland fans, enjoy the streak while you can, cause come Monday it'll be nothing more than a memory!
