“Gleeman and The Geek” #57: Dozier’s September Snub and Back To Beer

This week's episode of Gleeman and The Geek returns to our podcast (and beer-drinking) roots after 20 weeks on the radio and topics included September call-ups that don't involve Brian Dozier, Denard Span finally going on the disabled list, Joe Mauer waiver wire silliness, Las Vegas vacation, poor Anthony Slama, Chris Parmelee in the outfield, Arizona Fall League participants, and Jacqueline Bisset versus Steve McQueen.

Glad you guys are back to recording the show the old school way. I listened to the KFAN version every week, but I always liked the podcast version better.

The reason you couldn’t finish the Sweet Marthas is because they are godawful, greasy gut bombs, sporting an ingredient list that you wouldn’t feel good about eating if you knew. Their plastic tubs will be a blight on the environment for eons. Minnesotans cult-like obsession with these candied turds reflects truly despicably on us. But I hear Martha is a lovely woman.

I’m a little behind on podcast now (been on vacation and working from home, I usually listen on my long commutes)

However, I did like the bar scene more. Seemed more in character for you and John.
