  1. I would love to see Big Jim in a Twins uniform again. Given 150-200 at-bats for the upcoming season, I think he could be an on-base presence off the bench as a pinch hitter and a DH once a week. He would be invaluable as a team leader, and possibly transition to a coaching/scouting gig for the future. One question: Who would the Twins waive or demote off the 40-man roster to make room for Thome? Hernandez or DeVries could possibly be outrighted to Rochester.

  2. Everybody at the Oscars missed a golden opportunity to make it the best one ever after Jennifer Lawrence fell down. After that, everybody for the rest of the night should have purposely taken a pratt fall and rolled all the way off the stage into the waiting arms of a security guard. Maybe next year’s Oscars will be the one where they all fall down, and everybody arrives wearing padded gear.

  3. The podcasts have improved a lot lately. The vibe now allows the geek to make fun of himself, which he is good at.
