Quote of the Day

I got an email from someone asking why there have not been any "Nice Job Bud Selig" articles since the strike was avoided.

I sent him a detailed answer, in which I talked about how I don't think Bud Selig was responsible for very much as far as getting the agreement done and also how I feel as though even if he was, he would still have a long way to go before he makes up for all the horrible things he has done to the game of baseball.

Anyway, I saw a quote over at BaseballProspectus.com that I thought wrapped up my position very succinctly:

"I'm very grateful and appreciative that the commissioner of baseball feels that 48 hours before another work stoppage, it's important enough for him to leave Milwaukee and go to New York."
