Beating The White Sox Never Gets Old

Something you got, makes me work all day
Something you got, makes me bring home my pay
Something you got, you oughta know
I said my, my, woah, woah, I love you so

Something you got, keeps me home every night
Something you got, makes everything all right
Something you got, honey you oughta know
I said my, my, woah, woah, I love you so

- Wilson Pickett, "Something You Got"

With two outs, runners on the corners, and the score knotted at 3-3 in the bottom of the ninth inning last night Jose Morales received his first at-bat since way back on July 11 and did this:

Morales is now 27-for-71 (.380) as a big leaguer, including a ridiculous 10-for-13 versus the White Sox. For those of you without calculators handy that works out to a nifty .769 batting average. That bum Joe Mauer is only hitting .367. Unfortunately the Tigers also won last night, so the Twins remain 3.5 games back in the AL Central with only 30 games left to play, but ... well, that was pretty damn fun.
