  1. The Twins frequently have more hits than their opponents in games they lose. They leave a ton of guys on base and seem to often need 3 hits (or base runners) to bring a run in. Their opponents beat them with power and efficiency. (Or is this mainly a consequence of the Twins’ throw-it-over pitching philosophy?) So many teams seem to have half a dozen players in their lineups with 15-20 HRs a season. The Twins are always well below that. Why?
