  1. Hey, Aaron

    I miss your writing!

I was worried this would happen when you started the podcast. I’ve been a regular reader since the beginning, and you used to post almost daily. When the podcast started it went down to two or three times a week. Now it’s petered out almost completely. Two posts total this month!

Nothing against the podcast. I know a lot of people love podcasts. I even listen to it myself sometimes, and enjoy it. I just much, much prefer to read. I loved your blog, and really miss it!

I’m thrilled to see your career take off, and that you’re having such a great time with the podcast. It’s great that it’s so popular. Just don’t forget your writing has fans, too! It’s sad to check in here every day, sometimes several times, and see nothing here, for days on end. Remember, this is important, too! Eleven million visitors can’t be wrong!

  2. After the discussion at the end of this episode, I checked out your openings (of course it’s always John):

Ep. 1: “Alright, welcome to the fourth inaugural recording of John and Aaron’s podcast, which we are tentatively calling the Baseball Pitcher…” (!)

Ep. 2: “Well, welcome to the second recording of Gleeman and the Geek. How did
you like the introductory music, Aaron?” (There was no introductory
    music.)

Ep. 3 (Intro music!) “As the song says, it is Gleeman, Geek, Gleeman and the Geek.”

Ep. 4 (Intro: Bonnes doing an impression of Dr. Rosenrosen (?)) “And welcome to the Gleeman and the Geek podcast again…”

In Ep. 5, Bonnes sticks with “And welcome,” and I assume you never looked back!
